  • Recipient of SK Seth Prize for the year 2012 for valuable contribution in the Indian Forester

Technology to improve service life of non durable plantation and imported timber species against biological and physical degradation by using innovative environ-safe wood preservatives ZiBOC. Value addition of imported timbers for different end uses in India in different agro climatic zones. Efficacy evaluation of non biocidal/ thermal treatment in indigenous wood species to improve service life. Innovative and sustainable strategies to enhance the service life of wood and bio-based materials. Development of value added products of bamboo for livelihood support for low income groups. Fire retardant and preservative combination development and testing.
